Description
Radial spherical plain bearing GE 4 E by SKF brand.

Cylindrical bore type for 0.157 in. / 4 mm. shaft diametr, outer ring surface is cylindrical.
Made of through-hardened, ground and phosphated bearing steel. The bearing rings with manganese phosphate coating, which is highly resistant to corrosion and wear.
Principal dimensions is 0.157х0.472х0.197 in. equal to 4х12х5 mm.
Without seals.
Regular relubrication required, relubrication from the side, without holes or grooves. Steel/steel sliding contact surface combination: high-strength, phosphated and treated with a special running-in lubricant. Sliding contact surface have to be lubricated before use.
In tilt motion of spherical plain bearings, the inner ring and shaft locating washer move relative to the outer ring and housing locating washer in a direction transverse to the bearing axis.
The maximum permissible tilt angle α must be observed to 16 °.
