Cylindrical bore type for 6.299 in. / 160 mm. shaft diametr, outer ring surface is cylindrical.
Made of through-hardened, ground and phosphated bearing steel. The bearing rings with manganese phosphate coating, which is highly resistant to corrosion and wear.
Principal dimensions is 6.299х9.055х4.134 in. equal to 160х230х105 mm.
Sealed with double-lip seal on both sides. Sealed radial spherical plain bearings require less maintenance and have longer service life.
Regular relubrication required, can be relubricated via lubrication holes and an annular groove in both rings. Steel/steel sliding contact surface combination with multi-groove system, improve bearing service life. High-strength sliding contact surface are phosphated and treated with a special running-in lubricant, but have to be lubricated before use.
In tilt motion of spherical plain bearings, the inner ring and shaft locating washer move relative to the outer ring and housing locating washer in a direction transverse to the bearing axis.
The maximum permissible tilt angle α must be observed to 8 °.
