Double direction thrust ball bearings can accommodate high axial load carrying capacity in both direction. This bearings type permit higher speeds than roller or needle roller and cage assemblies, must not be subjected to any radial load. Consist of a separable components: one shaft washer, two housing washers and two ball and cage assembly. Separable design facilitate mounting/dismounting and maintenance inspections. The shaft washer have a ground bore that enables an interference fit.
