Double row angular contact ball bearings suitable for radial and axial loads acting simultaneously, where the axial load and tilting moments acts in both direction. In their design and operation correspond to a pair of single row angular contact ball bearings in a back-to-back arrangement (O-arrangement), while requiring less axial space. They can operate at high speeds and, depending on the variant, even very high speeds. Require less axial space than equivalent pair of single row angular contact ball bearings, suitable where a stiff bearing arrangement is required.
